​TAKAHIRO HOSHINO PROFILE

Born in Hokkaido. Won first place in the elementary school division of the All Japan Student Music Competition in Hokkaido and third place in the Tokyo competition. After graduating from the Faculty of Music at Toho Gakuen School of Music, he studied at the Hungarian National F. Liszt Academy of Music as a Hungarian government scholarship student. He studied under Kawahara Hiroyasu, Miyazawa Noriyuki, Matsuoka Sadako, Tazaki Etsuko, Gyorgy Nador, Ferenc Rados, and Eric Heidsieck.

During his studies abroad, she won and placed highly in numerous international competitions, including the Maria Canals, Viotti-Barsesia (now Varallo Sesia), Cantù Piano Concerto, and Master Players, and has performed at music festivals throughout Europe. He was invited to the Hungarian "Five Harps" music festival and won the "Harp Grand Prize." From 2022, she has won and placed highly in 60 international competitions, including the Medici, Moscow, London, Trinity, London Classical, Clara Schumann, Birmingham, Royal Mars, and NY Classical Debut Prize, and has performed at music festivals throughout Europe, the United States, and Canada.

In 2024, he signed an exclusive artist contract with the major American PRICE ATTRACTIONS, expanding his international scope of activities. He has performed with the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, the Romanian National Orchestra, the Prague Chamber Orchestra, the Tokyo New City Orchestra, and the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, and has also performed in a wide range of recitals and chamber music. In recent years, with the cooperation of Takagi Clavia, he has been actively performing "Horowitz's Piano of Love" using a vintage 1912 NY Steinway CD75.

Former lecturer at the Faculty of Music of Toho Gakuen School of Music, associate professor at the Faculty of Music of Ueno Gakuen University (visiting professor at the Faculty of Music of the same university junior college), lecturer at Tosei Gakuen Showa University of Music. In addition to teaching the next generation at international master classes throughout Europe, he is also a professor at the Conservatory of Européen de Piano (France/Italy). Director of FIERTÉ Piano Academy. Representative director of the Japan Arts Federation. Organizer of the JCPC Japan Chamber Music Piano Competition. He has released LISZT-SCHUBERT, Appassionata Kreisleriana, LISZT I, the Beethoven album PASSION, and the classics collection STORY, which were selected as special selections, semi-special selections, and recommended by the Yomiuri Shimbun in the Record Geijutsu magazine.
